Art on the Edge
Videos of this collection were shot within the framework of the project "City and Art on the Edge", implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. The project aimed to develop a model of viewing various artistic practices that existed in the western peripheries of the Ukrainian SSR in the late 1980's. This model combines a man (an artist), the urban environment (Lviv), and narratives — both of art and about art. We want to see how urban spaces and art workshops impacted different understandings of artistic quality and the goals of art.
