"It’s a picture of my mother Nadiia Nazarova (by marriage Lutsenko). My mother bought this coat with a fox collar in Leningrad. It was difficult to get things back home, so my grandmother Tanya regularly went shopping in Moscow, Leningrad, Riga. There she bought not only clothes but also fabrics, shoes, gloves, bedding, blankets. However, accessories still remained a deficit - my mother wore felt boots and mittens. In the 1970s my mother studied in the Shakhtarsk Medical School but did not stay in medicine for long. In the late 1980s she began to work as a shift supervisor at a private gas station and worked there for 40 years, until the occupation of Donbas".
