The collection consists of a single 8 mm film shot in the 1960s. The film combines footage from a trip to Poland with everyday scenes of family life in Lviv.
The travel footage of Warsaw, Gdańsk and Gdynia focuses on the urban landscape and its representation through iconic architectural landmarks, tourist routes and mass events. The camera captures central streets, historical monuments and city panoramas, as well as large public gatherings—in particular, international competitions.
At the same time, domestic scenes unfold: scenes of family life indoors. Images of children occupy a special place, particularly through their playful role-play as ‘musketeers’.
The Lviv section of the film is devoted to everyday city life: strolls through the main streets and visits to shops and kiosks.
The collection includes footage from the following cities: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Lviv.
