The collection consists of one film, shot between 1975 and 1986 on 8 mm film.
The collection combines footage of travel, leisure, urban spaces and private family events, reflecting various aspects of everyday life in the late Soviet era.
A significant portion of the material is devoted to holidays in Crimea, particularly in Yalta and the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. The footage features boat trips, the Yalta promenade, architectural landmarks—including the Livadia Palace—natural landscapes, the botanical garden’s plant collections, and scenes of holidaymakers’ leisure activities. Some segments were filmed in Kyiv and depict cityscapes, walks and panoramic views of the Dnipro. Alongside this, the film contains scenes from private life: family leisure in a rural courtyard and New Year celebrations. The closing scenes include footage of student life and a wedding ceremony.
