The collection consists of 6 photographs and one 8 mm film created by the People's Film Studio “Murator” of the Lviv House of Culture of Builders under the leadership of Roman Buchko in the 1990s.
The photographs depict young people in the urban spaces of Lviv in the 1950s: during the development of the Altai Lakes and beside the floral displays on the city’s main streets.
The film documents the research, preservation, and restoration of monumental stained glass art in Lviv. It captures examples of Secessionist and sacred stained-glass windows in residential and public buildings, including their artistic features, architectural context, and state of preservation.
The film combines footage of research in urban spaces, work with archival and library sources by art historians (Pavlo Grankin, Oleksandr Overchuk), and restoration processes involving masters (Ihor Shvets, Vyacheslav Shvets, Oleg Yankovsky) at the "Ukrzakhidproektrestavratsia" State Enterprise.
