An interview with the worker of the Spectator organization bureau. The woman loved theatre since childhood (her father supported a reading room), and came to work at the bureau from the trade sphere. She tells about the specifics of work with the trade unions of factories, students and pupils, points to the changes in the audience that took place in the last 30 years, and describes the specific features of the audience that attends theatre on weekdays and weekends, comes to premiere and regular performances. The interview highlights the criteria that help to decide on going to the theatre: what exactly people are interested in (the cast, a director, type of the performance: a company or a drama) and how much the price and even the season (for example, summer or winter) impact the decision. The interviewee describes how the staff communicates with the theatre administration and coordinate the work among themselves.
