An interview with an opera singer, soloist, the People’s artist of Ukraine. The interviewee first studied at the musical academy, then at the conservatorium, which eventually led him to the theatre. The man describes his working experience and the peculiarities of work of an opera singer, compares this work to the work at operetta, recalls the tours, the formation of a repertoire, relationships in a team, performances’ funding, the material conditions of the theatre workers. Towards the end of the interview, she tells about the work of the theatre during reconstruction.
