Interview with a woman born in Sumy region. As a child, she moved to Lviv with her parents. The woman spent her childhood in Mayorivka neighbourhood, where her father, a military man, was accomodated with housing. She told how houses were built at Pasichna Street, about the work internship at the Svitoch factory where she was sent as part of the school studies. The woman's father worked at the Mikroprylad, the woman's sister worked at the Telegraph devices unit, and then as an accountant at Polaron plant. The woman worked for seven months after school as a reeler at the Mikroprylad. She described the work, and the factory workshop. Later, she worked as a copywriter for two more years in the drawing department of the Mikroprylad. After the Polytechnic Institute, she went to work as an engineer at the Electron Computing Center. She worked there from 1975 to 1993. She was engaged in repair works for computing machines. She was one woman in the department. She told how Ryasne and Shevchenko Street, where she now lives, were being built.
