Interview with a man who was born in the village Solova, Zolochiv district. After school, he moved to Lviv. In 1984-85, he worked as a machine operator. In 1987-96, he was a glassblower at the Polaron plant. During the conversation, the man described in detail the process of training for a machine operator in the Polaron workshop. He emphasized the hazardous nature of the work in the workshop where the lamps were blown. He said that he lived in a dormitory managed by the plant, at Uhorska Street. The man noted that there were many sports competitions organized by the plant, and he actively participated in these activities. During the interview, he talked about excessive drinking, theft, and negligence at the factory. The man spoke positively about the destruction of the plant and the construction of residential housing on the site. Now he is engaged in business and politics, and he is a councilor at the regional council.
