This map was included in the 1939 guide-book The Ukrainian Guide to Lviv, with City Map (Український провідник по Львові з пляном міста Львова). The author of the map is unknown. The guidebook with the accompanying map was published by Komertsiya and printed by J. Jaśkow. (J. Jaśkow).
Legend:
The lower left corner contains the title: “Lviv City Map” (Плян міста Львова).
Beneath this the map’s scale is depicted graphically and fractionally (1:15 000).
Outside the map’s frame, in the lower margin is a list of buildings identified on the map titled: “Numbered factories, establishments and shops” (Нумеровані знаки фабрик, установ і крамниць).
In the lower right corner is a key to the symbols used on the map titled: “Explanation of signs” (Пояснення знаків).
In the upper left corner is an insert of Syhnivka: “Insert Syhnivka Velyka” (Додаток Сигнівка Велика).
