Description

The National Museum (former Emperor Francis Joseph I City Industrial <br />

Museum, constructed in 1898-1904). Construction of the building was <br />

funded by the Galician Savings Bank. In 1952-1990 the building housed the Lviv department of the V. I. Lenin<br />

Central Museum in Moscow. From 1990 onwards the building is in the <br />

property of the National Museum in Lviv.
