The architectural ensemble of Bankova street in the early twentieth century. The house with chimaeras, built by architect Gorodetsky, can be seen in the center and on the right. In 1905 a tram line connecting the Bessarabska square with Oleksandrivsky (now Volodymyrsky) Uzviz was laid through Bankova street.
