The architectural ensemble of Bankova<br />
street in the early twentieth century. The house with chimaeras,<br />
built by architect Gorodetsky, can be seen in the center and on the<br />
right. In 1905 a tram line connecting the Bessarabska square with<br />
Oleksandrivsky (now Volodymyrsky) Uzviz was laid through Bankova<br />
