One of the earliest photos of Kyiv<br />
depicts the arrival of the first train at the Kyiv train station.<br />
Only one track was built at that time. Tricoloured flags of the<br />
Russian Empire can be seen on the train and on the newly constructed<br />
train station building. There are human figures on the carriages; one<br />
can see an open carriage in the middle of the train.</p><p>Olga Martyniuk</p>
