Description
The film contains an amateur film report about the spring festival in the village of Korop:

1) 00:00:12 - 00:01:34 — A fair at the market. An orchestra plays. Portrait shots of festival visitors. Horses stand near carts. Trucks are loaded with goods.

2) 00:01:35 - 00:04:21 — Speeches by the “herald,” Did Moroz, and Winter from the stage. Spring presents a loaf to the head of the collective farm and addresses the audience. A song is performed by an amateur ensemble. Buyers examine a goat, chat, and purchase seedlings. The song Timonya (Тимоня) is played.

3) 00:04:22 - 00:11:14 — Fairground entertainment: a man shoots at vodka bottles in a shooting gallery. A folk group performs the song As Behind the Don River (Как за Доном за рекой). Festival guests gather near the “tavern” with a samovar. Varenyky are being prepared. Young people snack together. Boys compete in sack races. A woman takes a photograph using a Kyiv-6C camera. More songs are performed. A man climbs a pole; another lifts a kettlebell. A honey vendor. A marketplace counter. Buyers with their purchases. A woman tries on boots. A bookstall. A woman inspects a set of rails. Women display embroidered towels. A man with a pitchfork stands in the back of a truck filled with corn cobs. The orchestra. Sellers at their stalls. Performance by a folk group.
