- Description
- This is the second part of the film "Years of Life". The Year 1941. A Nazi soldier comes to Mariika and Stefan's house and opens fire on the family because of Stefan's resistance. Rada loses her parents and her hearing. Rescued by a Soviet soldier, she is sent to a boarding school for the deaf. The Year 1947. Rada begins a friendship with a boy named Mykola. As a young girl, she works as a seamstress, performs in amateur groups, and continues to correspond with her childhood love. The central symbol of the film is an apple tree planted by the girl. This tree, which grows with her, becomes a place of memories and new hopes, to which she always returns.
