An interview with the Lviv gallerist, historian by education, is concerned with the events in the cultural and artistic life of the city in 1985–1995. The man recalls the years of euphoria that swept the creative community of the city in the period of Perestroika and its gradual decline. He tells how he managed to find and decorate the premises for a gallery, about the substantial freedom from commerce and the overall peculiarities of Lviv of the time. The interviewee describes the Lviv’s creative milieu that revolved around the gallery, devoting much attention to the pastime and the places where the members of the community met.
