An interview with an actor, the People’s and Honored Actor of Ukraine. The interviewee comes from Poltava region; he graduated from the theatrical faculty of Kyiv Theatre Institute even though he initially wanted to study at the faculty of literature. He has been living and working in Lviv since 1968, where he and other students were invited after they finished education in Kyiv. The invitation came right after Roman Viktiuk and his troupe moved to Russia. Besides telling about the theatre, colleagues, relationships among the staff, the man focuses on the peculiarities of the children’s audience that, unlike the adult one, cannot pretend – the attention of the young audience should be attracted, earned. During his working experience, the actor played around 200 roles. As a director-producer, he got acclaim thanks to performances on spiritual topics: About St. Nicolas, About Christmas and Easter.
