Description:
An interview with a woman who has been performing technical work in the theatre since 1964: the head of maintenance, stage design technician, a watchwoman. The woman started working in the theatre thanks to her husband, who was a driver. The woman tells about her young years, describes in detail the life in the theatre dormitory, tells about the warm almost family-like relationships with other theatre workers and bright impressions of premieres and tours. The conversation is interesting because it takes an alternative, technical perspective to view theatre work from.
Recorded on 20th 2013 at the interviewee’s place of work. The interviewer – Maria Antoniuk.
