- The category consists of answers to the question of what should be considered symbols of Euromaidan, which slogans are favorite and which evoke negative emotions. It aims to reflect the language of the protest and to indicate in condensed form the expectations and important markers around which the mobilization is taking place. Speaking of symbols, protesters mention both social ("active people, youth") or spatial ("Shevchenko monument") aspects, as well as specific objects, such as the blue-yellow flag or "Christmas tree / Yolka" in December 2013 and tires or helmets in February 2014.
