Interview with a woman who was born and lives in the village of Myklashiv, near Lviv. The woman said her family had been deported to Siberia and returned to Myklashiv in 1960, wherefrom they had been deported. After school, the woman went to study at the College of Radio Electronics in Lviv. Upon completion in 1975 woman was assigned to work at Polyaron. Narrator said that she had worked as a pumping worker for three years. She told about the work in the shop, about the specifics of work with missile-related devices. She didn't like their job very much and wanted to leave the factory. The woman said she found it difficult to get the approval for resignation. She succeeded by writing a letter to the newspaper. The woman spoke about the work hazards. She said many of her colleagues were dying. She herself complained of anemia; she believes that it was caused by her work in the production shop. In 1978, she moved to work at the Iskra plant. In 1990, she left her job at the plant and became the deputy head of the village council.
