"This photo pictures my mother Nadiia Perevertailo in a dress made of orange crimplene. Since she lived in a dormitory, she would sew all the things only when she went home, to the village of Supoivka, Yahotyn district, Kyiv region. My grandmother had an old Zinger sewing machine. They bought it by selling all the sugar acquired during the collective farm season - it was a few bags. Nadiia's mother, Mariia Perevertaylo, was happy to sew everything for her family and acquaintances."
