This video shows the lectures of Volodymyr Flys, a professor of Lviv Conservatory. He studied music in Leipzig and perhaps for that matter after the World War II left exile in Soviet camps. Volodymyr Flys had many talented students, so not by chance his composition class helped to emerge known in Ukraine artists, winners of numerous artistic awards.
In the first part of the video-plot professor Flys is walking on the streets of Lviv being inspired by its present culture. Later, he provides training in teaching methods with a group of students (including future ethnomusicologist Bohdan Lukaniuk).
The second part of the story shows the class of solfège training and how Volodymyr Flys works with Maria, one of the Baiko sisters (famous vocal trio in the 1960s).
Later in the plot Lviv TV reporters show how Stanislav Lyudkevych is working on new compositions together with his colleagues: the young composer Julian Korchynskyi works on a new music composition and consults with the acknowledged master Stanislav Liudkevych. The artists walk in the city, accompanied by composer and musicologist Olexander Zelinskii.
The last part of the plot shows the composer Andrzej Nikodemowicz who works with a young student. This composer moved to Soviet Poland in 1980 where he continued to work as musician and composer in the city of Lublin.
