The film contains the fourth issue of the satirical film magazine Zhakan, which focuses on the environmental impact of collective farms:

1) 00:00:05 - 00:04:37 — Village of Zhovtneve. A thunderstorm. A worker brings cows into the barn; a bull is limping. Wind gusts. Wheels of a cart.
Painting: Children Running from a Thunderstorm by K. Makovsky. A rooster. A calf. A bus passes by men on a cart and an abandoned house. Ruins of the bell tower of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. Felled forest. Remains of dead horses, calves, and sheep. Torn fertilizer bags. Ammonia leaking from a barrel. A seagull flies over the river.

2) 00:04:38 - 00:08:03 — Tractors with sprayers move along the road; in the background, a farm with cows. Piles of manure and mud around the farm area. A silage pit. A man dumps trash from a cart. Crows flying over the fields. Black liquid pours from a pipe—effluent contaminates nearby water bodies.

3) 00:08:04 - 00:08:03 — Shevchenko collective farm. Workers exit the administrative building. Village of Krysky. The executive committee. Distillery gate. Conversations among fellow villagers. Earthen embankments, scattered auto parts along the village roads. A stray cat. A landfill of garbage and broken machinery. Collective farm builders at work. The farm head delivers a speech to workers during a meeting.
