Mykhailo Banakh
The collection includes three films shot on Krasnogorsk 3 and Aurora cameras in 1988-1989 on 8- and 16-mm film by Mykhailo Banakh, head of the criminal investigation section of the Lviv Department of Internal Affairs on Transport. The materials combine recordings of the disaster events, everyday work, and public sporting events.
The films document the activities of the headquarters in Yerevan dealing with the aftermath of the Spitak earthquake in December 1988, the course of the 1st USSR Powered Hang Gliding Championship in Karagoz (Pervomaiske) in September 1988, and the daily work of the Lviv Department of Internal Affairs on Transport.
