Lviv Puppet Theatre

The collection contains printed photographs and negatives that the theatre team found in the theatre's building at 1 Danyla Halytskoho Square.

These images were taken between 1950 and 2006 by unknown authors. They show the theatre's creative activities, tours, and celebrations such as the theatre's 60th anniversary. The photographs enable research into the repertoire, see the puppets from different years of the theatre's work, and thanks to descriptions and comments from the staff, the names of the people depicted and their roles in the preparation of performances are known.

The collection includes private photographs of Slava Kurylko, which thematically complement the main part.
