An interview with a former nurse of Lviv Tuberculosis Hospital, born in Lviv. The woman starts her story with an autobiographical notice. When she was a child, she traded in the market to help her mother. Then, she was sentenced for profiteering and sent to jail, later – transferred to Ural. She received the education of a nurse there and returned to Lviv, where she could find work for a longer time. The woman describes in detail her professional development from the ward to an operating room nurse. In the conversation, she also describes in detail the lodging, welfare, interior, social connection of postwar Lviv house residents. During the interview, the conversants view photos.
