Interview with the man born in the village of Zavydovychi, Lviv region. Now he lives in Lviv. The man started his career as a turner at a Forklift plant Avtonavantazhuvach. Then, after graduating as an economist, in 1983, he came to work at Polaron plant. He worked as an ordinary economist, later as an economist of planning the work of the workshop; later, as the head of the financial department, a deputy director, and then, a director of the Polyaron Manufacturing Group, until 2011. He tells about trips to construction team camps during his studies, and about various sports activities. He described in detail the systems of payment of salaries at the plant, how the payments were distributed, and who received what amount. He noted that together with all the surcharges he could receive a salary of up to 500 rubles. He knew very well what products the plant produced: what kind of devices they were, and where they intended to be used. He tells about discipline and work organization. He mentioned that the plant had its own mini-hotel for everyone who came on a business trip to the plant. He described the territory of the plant. He told about the apartment where he lived with his family: the apartment was directly opposite the factory, it was allocated to his father-in-law who was once the driver of the director of Polaron. He told about sports activities at the plant and various competitions. He mentioned the summer houses (dachas) that were provided to employees.
