Description

The monument to the first printer Ivan Fedorov, the author of the first Ukrainian printed books, was erected and solemnly opened on November 26, 1977. The figure of the printer standing on a rectangle of dark paving stones is a rather unconventional artistic solution for that time. The authors of the monument were Lviv sculptors Valentyn Borysenko and Valentyn Podolsky, the architectural solution belongs to the architect Anatoly Konsulov.
