Virmenska and Skarbkivska Streets (now Lesi Ukrainky Street) are connected by a passage that leads through the gate of the bell tower of the Armenian Church. The tower, built in 1571, was rebuilt many times due to destruction and fires. Its top took on its present form in the 19th century. The picture shows a view of the passage from Lesi Ukrainky Street, it leads past the northern, eastern and southern courtyards to Virmenska Street.
