General Regional Exhibition of 1894 in Lviv. The Palace of Industry, an industrial pavilion with an area of 5,985 square meters, was built according to the design of the exhibition's chief architect, František Skovron (based on Karol Boublik's concept), and the construction was supervised by architect Karol Boublik. The pavilion was located in the southeast of the exhibition, on the first square formed by the central alley, in the direction from the main gate into the exhibition. The central element of the pavilion was a 32-meter-high dome, and the pediment was decorated with paintings by Tadeusz Popiel. The pavilion occupied the space between the central alley and St. Sophia Street. It was the largest and most important pavilion of the exhibition, representing the achievements of Galician industry and its development trends. Today, the pavilion no longer exists; it was dismantled when the site of the former Provincial Exhibition was being prepared for the construction of pavilions for the Eastern Trade Fair, which was held from 1921 to 1939.
