St. Lazarus Church was built in 1620 next to a house for the poor, which had been converted from an old hospital that had existed on the site since the early 17th century. Between 1620 and 1670, the church was built by architects Ambrozii Prykhilnyi, Yakob Boni, and Martyn Hodnyi. Below the church, on a slope, there is a well with two stone lions bearing the coasts of arms of the of Sholz-Wolfowicz and Kampian families, created by the sculpture Bernard Dicembosch and originating from the old Lviv city hall.
