Description: The building of the k.k. Staatsgewerbeschule (vocational school) was finished in 1884 in Neue Welt Gasse (Str. Marasesti, vul.Shevtchenka). Pupils had to finish four grades of a middle school or Gymnasium in order to qualify for the vocational school. <br />The sign on the facade of the opposite house seems to appeal rather to illiterates. <br /><em>Helmut Kusdat</em>
