Between the High Castle and the Kaiserwald rises the Sand Mountain (Lion Mountain, Lion Mountain, Bald Mountain, Stephen's Mountain - 398 m above sea level). Before World War I, in 1908-1914, an amusement park with many attractions and a popular summer restaurant was located on its slopes.
