View of Uzhhorod railway station in the interwar period. The city received a railway connection in 1872. The first railway line connected Uzhhorod and the city of Nyíregyháza; in 1904, a line was laid that connected Transcarpathia and Galicia. In the last quarter of the 19th century, a two-story station building was built, to which Stantsiyna Street led.
