The Uzhhorod microdistrict of Galagov (Galago) on the right bank of the Uzh River was designed in the early 1920s by professor of architecture A. Liebscher. Administrative buildings were concentrated here, and 150 million crowns were spent on their construction in the late 1920s and early 1930s. In 1932, a Czech public school (the anniversary Masaryk school) was built - the current comprehensive school No. 3 on the Independence Embankment.
