"It’s a picture of three sisters, younger children of the Klochko family. Their father Havrylo Yakovlevych Klochko worked as an assistant chief mechanic in sugar factories belonging to the Kharytonenko family.
Olha Havrylivna Klochko is on the left. She’s with her son Petro, who died ten years later in the first days of the war in Ukraine. In the center - Oleksandra Havrylivna Klochko (by marriage Luhova), mother of historian Olena Luhova, next to her eldest daughter Nataliia. Polina Havrylivna is on the right. The sisters were always dressed well because their father ordered clothes from abroad, and later Olha and Oleksandra's husbands could also afford it. Oleksandra's life changed after her husband was arrested in 1937. All her family belongings were confiscated and She along with two daughters were then evicted to the basement”.
