“In 1944 my grandmother Halyna Mykolaiina Nikolenko became the director of the Museum of History. It was the same time when the museum got its building on Starokyiv hill. In this picture my granny (on the right) and her colleague watch reconditioning works being made near the building to adjust it to the needs of the museum being built for the Academy of Art originally”.
