Fundukleivska (now Bohdana<br />
Khmelnytskoho) street at the turn of the twentieth century. The first<br />
version of the crisscross tram line can be seen. The four-storied<br />
houses have just appeared on this street. The street is paved with<br />
cobblestones; the traffic is rather active, in particular, cabs can<br />
be seen. With the introduction of tramway the public welfare of the<br />
city was improved and some new tram interchanges were made;<br />
specifically, trams started to move actively on some streets or parts<br />
of them, and that is why the traffic was divided into two opposite<br />
