The boy is Yevheniia Seraphymivna's grandson, Andriy Viktorovych Bohadytsia, the great uncle of the archive's owner. The location is in the courtyard of 65 Sovetska / Soviet (eng.) (now Nezalezhnosti / Independence eng.) Street in Bakhmut. Yevheniia Seraphymivna (also known as “grandma Zheka") raised Andriy during the first years of his life as his parents worked on geological expeditions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
