To the left is the turn of 18 Lermontova Street, the building of the ambulance station, to the right is 41 Myru [Peace, eng.] Street, where the central post office/telegraph/telephone office and the First of May demonstration are located. A column of demonstrators marches down Myru [Peace, eng.] Street. The standard route is along Myru Street [Peace, eng.] to Svobody [Freedom, eng.] Square, to the city committee of the CPSU [Communist Party of the Soviet Union].
