<p>Over the course of its 50-year history the tradition to take pictures by the monument was not interrupted even during the winter. The picture is taken from building No. 5, where the "Children’s World" mall was located (existing from 1925 on as the "Mariacka Gallery," from the beginning of the 1960’s as the "Barvinok" mall, and from the early 1990’s as the 'Roksolana" mall. In 2008 the children’s supermarket "Antoshka" was built here.</p>
