A well-known Lviv enterprise of the second half of the 19th century, Sigmund Moser's metal products factory, was located on a plot of land between 5 Krasytskykh Street (Ohiienko) and Horodotska Street. The factory manufactured agricultural machinery and equipment, fire pumps, and bells of various sizes. Its owner, Zygmunt Moser, was a councilor of the city of Lviv from 1871 to 1882 and worked in the construction and public works section. In 1895, a second building of the Railway Directorate (now the railway hospital) was built on the site of the former Moser factory.
