
General Military Command

In 1839, the General Military Command was located in the private house of the merchant Glikselli at 6 Bernardynska Square (now Soborna Square), built by the beggars Wilhelm Schmidt and Florian Onderka. In 1800-1839, it was located in the house of Jan Preszel (later the "English" hotel) on Vali Nizhny (now Svobody Avenue). Since then, the house has been used for its intended purpose.
