The photo shows the former barracks of the Citadel defense complex, which was used by the Germans as a concentration camp from 1941. From the beginning of 1941, the eastern wing (on the right) was converted into prison cells, and the western wing (on the left) housed the camp command. From January 1943, prisoners from the Rawa Russky concentration camp ""Stalag 325"" were transferred to the Citadel. The photo shows a view of the barracks from the south side.
