The interview with the woman who was born in the Chernihiv region; her parents moved to Lviv when she was three months old. They first lived in an abandoned house with no windows, then – moved to the nearby apartment. The key topic of the conversation was welfare after World War II. The interviewee recalls her parents, especially the life of her mother in the new apartment in Lviv, tells about the square with a marketplace that defined the life of the surrounding houses. She underlines that life after the war was difficult but people supported each other and were much more open.
