An interview with an Honored Artist of Ukraine, a professor, a teacher of solo singing, once a leading soloist of the opera. She studied in Lviv and Kyiv Conservatoriums and worked at the Lviv Opera House for 28 years; then, in the eighties, she moved to teaching. The woman describes the peculiarities of a singer’s profession: workload characteristics, personal experiences, the competition for leading parties common for the theatrical environment, and points to the difficulties of work in the period of reconstruction. An interview has a description of Lviv’s uniqueness and the changes it underwent. Towards the end of the interview, the woman tells several hilarious stories from theatrical life.
