Interview with a man born in Ternopil region. After school, he came to Lviv to work for a Forklift Factory, as a worker in a foundry; later he became chief of the workshop. He was later elected to work in the factory management. The man finished working at the plant as a deputy director and was the director of the plant for the last three years. The man says that he knew the plant from the grassroots to the management, and he felt there as part of a large family. He told in detail how the workshops operated, and described the specifics of work in the factory operations management; later – in the administration of the plant. He spoke about the organization of work at the plant, the specifics of production, and manufacturing relations with other plants. The man supervised construction of workshops; he was in the commission on construction of apartment houses for the factory workers. Most of his work time at the Forklift Factory, he lived with his family in the family dormitory in Ryasne. He remembers how the district was built: houses, schools, kindergartens, nurseries, shops, and bridges. He took part in running sports competitions organized by the factory, and played in the football team. The factory granted him a car, and later he was allocated with a private apartment.
