A view of the Volodymyrska hill and Podil. In the foreground, there is a Dnieper precipice and the Magdeburg Rights column (below) with an earth path; on the right one can see an earth riverside road and a river port. In the distance the outline of Podil can be seen as it was before multistoried houses were built there. On the right, there is the Volodymyrska hill with the monument to St. Volodymyr and Oleksandrivsky (now Volodymyrsky) Uzviz street before the tram line was laid there.
