Description
The film contains an amateur feature film, a comedy sketch about modern hunting as entertainment and recreation:

The snowy yard of a village house. A dog runs out of the doghouse, followed by a cat. A woman (Oleksandra Kuziura) is doing housework, feeding the cows. A man (Ivan Koshelenko) is loading ammunition into a rifle. The woman reproaches him for not fixing the gate. She hands him a snack to take with him. The man waves off her scolding, checks the sight, and — while the woman isn’t looking — hides a bottle of vodka under his coat and leaves the yard without taking the cartridge belt. The woman steps outside to collect firewood, notices the forgotten ammunition, smiles, and hangs the belt on a tree branch. In the forest, the man drinks vodka on a tree stump. Back at the farm, the woman opens the barn — a boar runs out, squeezes past the broken gate, and heads into the forest. The man mistakes it for a wild boar and sets off to hunt it down. Remembering too late that the bullets were left on the fence, he climbs a pine tree in fear. From the branches, he throws crumbs of his snack at the boar, occasionally reaching for his vodka bottle. Suddenly, he finds a couple of bullets and takes aim. Meanwhile, the woman is looking for the boar in the forest, chasing it home with a stick. Seeing her, the man drops the loaded rifle — the gun hits him in the thigh. The woman runs up to the tree, beats him with a stick, and then with the butt of the rifle when she notices the bottle. She brings a ladder from the house and helps him climb down. Together — the woman, the man, and the boar — they return home. The man repairs the gate and carries the ladder back from the forest.

The film is accompanied by a voice-over commentary by the narrator, Dmytro Kozel. The second audio track contains frame-by-frame descriptions of objects and actions. Both audio tracks end after 00:01:32.

Starring: Ivan Koshelenko, Oleksandra Kuziura. The film takes place in the village of Zhovtneve (modern Rozhdestvenske).
