Description
The film presents an amateur documentary report on the revival of liturgical life in the village of Krysky:

1) 00:00:07 - 00:02:04 — Orthodox cathedral. Worship service in progress. A cross procession. Blessing of Easter baskets in the churchyard.

2) 00:02:05 - 00:05:29 — A gathering of parishioners. A sermon by Archpriest Mykola Putri on the cross as a symbol of Christianity. The installation of a cross atop the bell tower of a church under construction.

3) 00:05:37 - 00:09:04 — The bringing out of the Holy Gifts and another sermon by Mykola Putri. The first service and the consecration of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Krysky. Group photo of participants.

4) 00:09:05 - 00:10:49 — The wedding of two couples at the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The newlyweds depart from the churchyard in a Moskvich AZLK 2140 car.

The film’s sound design combines a voice-over commentary — an uplifting narrative about the Baptism of Rus and Slavic brotherhood — with church hymns.

Although Mykola Putri’s sermon, used in the voice-over, mentions Ponornytsia, it is delivered from a church in Krysky.

The second audio track serves as an editing cue sheet for the film, providing a frame-by-frame description of people, objects, actions, and editing plans.
